Wow time has really flown this year! I swear I was just shooting miss Ella’s newborn pics, and here we are at 6 months! Isn’t she just a little doll baby!? She was so good and we got tons of good ones! Ella has the sweetest parents and they are completly in love with this little girl. Who wouldn’t be, right!? Her daddy is in the Army, so those are his dog tags in the one picture, and the main inspiration for the flag pics. (and no, that prop is not mine, but i wish it was!)

I promise to post more on where I have been the last few months, but right now I am off to bed! Holly and Tim hope you guys like your little sneak peek!

Well, LONG time and no posts! Sorry for the lag in blogging. I have a pretty good excuse though, something like breaking my foot which then required surgery followed by no walking for 6 weeks…. but i will tell you more about that later, right now i want to introduce you to sweet baby Camille!

I got to take her pictures literally the night before i went into surgery. So it has been almost a month since i took these, and I know her mommy is anxious to see them!

I just LOVE babies with lots of hair, and this little peanut was no exception! And just look at those beautiful eyes! Good thing she has such pretty eyes because this little girl just wanted to show them off!We had a hard time getting her to sleep, and she LOVED being bundled. Big sis was so great with her, and seriously was the best 2 year old holding a newborn i think i have ever done. Camille gave us 2 seconds literally and sis looked at me and smiled perfectly! Now if i can only train my own to do that, life would be soo much easier!  I think we managed to get some great shots despite the broken foot, and make-shift studio set-up.

(Did i mention we finished re-modeling the studio and were right in the middle of it when i broke my foot?? Told you, lots to catch up on!

Well, I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas! I know I did!

I got to take a break from all things work related and spend some quality time with my little family!

We are enjoying all the snow and made great use out of it building forts, and digging out the driveway!

Thank you to all my wonderful clients, it has been a great year and I hope that 2010 is just as great and brings lots and lots of great new memories!

And because I like showing off my kids, here are a few fun pics we took over Thanksgiving break. The three oldest are mine, the cute little baby girl is my adorable little niece!

I got to take these pictures during my Chirstmas “break” and am just getting them up!

She was SO bright eyed and try as we did, we couldn’t get her to sleep! I must say that she is the first newborn that has won against all my efforts and stayed awake the whole time! lol. But just look at those beautiful brown eyes! We ended up with lots of keepers and I am sure her mom and dad will agree that she herself is quite the little keeper. So I just Love this little family. Emily is the brave girl who watches my own three kids while I do photo sessions and our kids have a blast together. I happen to think that these two girls are just the cutest little things ever, just Look at those big blue eyes on both of them! And so full of personality! I had a blast on this shoot, and it has taken me forever to get these up for you Emily, but I hope you enjoy!!

If you have been to my studio lately you have likely seen this newborn picture in black and white blown up and in a frame.

It is one of my all time favorite newborn shots and now, just six short months later, Grayson is back and cute as ever!

I picked a variety of expressions to share, including his sad one with the motercycle! It just melts my heart!! (but yes momma, I do have some with a happy face too! lol.)

And I just LOVED this little bear outfit! It may be another favorite! Good job Grayson!

Meet Sweet Bright Eyed Ella! She was just too cute and as you can see super alert! She had the most beautiful eyes and tons of beautiful hair!

Just a quick post to say that yes, I am alive. I took a few days for Thanksgiving Break with my family and am back fully re-charged ready to face the mountain of editing and shooting I have left before end of year!

I am so thankful for all my wonderful clients and all their beautiful kids that I get to photograph! I seriously love my job and am grateful to each and every one of you for your support of me and my business!

I THINK I have responded to all emails, (I about had a heart-attack when I saw how many stack up when I dont check it for 2 days! Eeek!)

6-7 Months is my FAVORITE age. Seriously, little babies reach their peek of cuteness at this time I swear!

Their little personalities really start to come out, they give me HUGE smiles, and they cannot run from me and my camera! Perfection!

This little guy has grown so fast! Wasn’t it just yesterday I was taking his newborn pics!? He is only about a month younger than my own little guy so I think that makes me love this age right now even more, because I know they are not all cute and happy like this for me, they are also like this at home with mommy and daddy and I just hope to help capture these special little moments to make them stay lasting memories forever!

I am literally working around the clock, I am going on 2 hours of sleep in 48 right now, so I am about to hopefully be in dreamland very soon tonight so I can actually function tomorrow. Well this cute little family was so much fun to photograph, and it wasn’t just because the mom and I share the same name, AND our first born daughters do too… It was because 6 month olds are just about my Favorite age ever! ok, and newborns.

Sorry short on words again, it is already after 2 and I still have several things left to accomplish before bedtime and I have a busy day tomorrow as well. Guess I am not very whitty when my brain checked out a couple hours ago! lol.
